Maquenteryë ohtar sambenn'
Quentë ohtar, „mindolya itírien et nandill'
Nyë maquenten man nissen turilmë macil
Mal autuvan rato, á carë vë meril
Mal yesta ányë quetë manen“
Ohtar tulyain' anda mardenna né
Ar minna samberyar carnimírië
Lá hehtanë tári min lún erya rië

The Queen and the Soldier
The soldier came knocking upon the queen's door
